Welcome to Countryside, home of the Cardinals!
Established in 1988, Countryside Elementary is a vibrant public school serving students from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade as part of the Olathe School District.
As “Home of the Cardinals,” the school is dedicated to fostering a safe and nurturing learning environment where meaningful instruction and positive relationships are at the heart of everything it does.
Countryside has a diverse student body of around 330 students, with an average student–teacher ratio of approximately 11:1 — better than the state average. The school’s student population reflects the rich diversity of the community, with strong representation across multiple racial and ethnic groups.
Academically, Countryside consistently ranks within the top half of Kansas public elementary schools, with proficiency rates in both reading and math that meet or exceed state averages.
